Red Bluff 50 mile loop with over 2,000 feet of climbing

This Red Bluff route is a great ride to prep for Rouge Roubaix. http://www.mapmyride.com/add_route_to_blog?r=526589708

For south Mississippi, this is about as hilly as it gets. My ErgoMo showed over 2,000 feet of climbing during the 51 miles. The hill on Fire Tower road is the longest climb of about one mile. This first climb is about 12 miles south of Monticello. Of course, there are the two climbs on Hwy 587: Red Bluff at mile 30, the view here is great, and White Bluff at mile 35, the steepest grade of over 10%. Due to the climbing and slag sections, this route will help prepare you for the brutality of the course and gravel sections during the "Hell of the South" in March.
